Reading all the comments above makes me feel too old. Well you all seem to be the juniors. I was at the Old Vidyakunj School - between 1965-1971 at that time the new school was under construction. Education, fellow students and the teachers - I must add – the best in the world. Our Teachers in those days were Mr Bhatt (PE, Hindi and English Poetry,), Mr. Parakh (Maths) Mr. Shah (Physics, Science, Chemistry and Maths) and MR Bhikhubhai (Hindi and Sanskrit) When I was in the 9th years a lady teacher, I am sorry I do not remember her name, she taught us History and Geography. My Very Best to all.

Hi My name is Khurshid(Jasmine)Jalejar Chavda. This is the School my father Jalejar Dinshawji Behramji Chavda, who Helped nuns of Sisters of Francis Assissi to establishe in that place. Our Vadi was right next to Parsee Orphanage. When he passed away in 1965, my mother Gool J Chavda ran business for couple of years and than it was sold and a society was build on farm land that my family owned for generations. I hope that Marble Takhti with my Great grandfather name is still there on arched gate we had. We are all in USA. Our house is still there in Agiyari Mohollo, Malesar, Navsari. That part of mohollo used to be called Chavdawad. I just google and found out that Homi Doctor and Keki Modi's places are also gone. What a piece of history for generation is gone. Parsees always believed in keeping up with time. I hope you have preserved a Takhti a piece of history. My father did a lot for untouchables education and helped with Independance of India. I hope that Jakatnaka Choki is there. I cannot find it on google. I found Lunsikui. I found our whole land on google next to Orphanage. I am doing family tree for our Chavda family. any info will be appreciated.
